SEE MORE ANTIQUE, VINTAGE, AND ESTATE JEWELRY AND RELATED ITEMS ON MY CURRENT LIST!  Unfortunately, I don’t know how to identify these interesting earrings accurately.  They certainly are from the Middle East; the silver work looks somewhat Yemenite.  The “beast” appears possibly from somewhere in the “Fertile Cresent,” perhaps from Iraq.  You will have to decide.  In any case, the earrings are made of a silver metal which is thick and heavy and does hold up to an acid test– so I believe there is some silver content, though I don’t know what the percentage is. The hanging elements act as bells as they dangle.  From the curve of the ear hook to the bottom of the bells, the measurement is over 2.5" x 1 & 5/8" wide.  The pair weighs 34 grams.
