    Description

    Antique Chinese Root Carving Brush holder and shaper. If you look there are all kinds of holes for which to shape a brush. On the inside of the holes are remnants of ink that was left after shaping. See Photo. Very deeply hollowed to perfection. Investigating  the forms in the many knots lead to many inspirations. Just a wonderful treasure for a calligrapher
    Condition: there has been a small repair on the bottom where  a part had broken off. See photo
